On Saturday we started painting. These are absolutely terrible quality pictures, but you get the idea.

I seriously love the yellow. But holy crap I had no idea what a pain yellow is to paint! I guess of all colors, it covers the worst. It took three coats to paint over the green we had in there, which was not dark at all. If we had known we would have primed ahead of time. Oh well.

Looking the other way. We'll be getting real closet doors too, no more shower curtain!
Hopefully we'll get the stripes taped out and paint them this week. But we have to clean up the room for Friday no matter what we get done, because we have guests staying over this weekend. Not very good planning on our part, but whatever :-P
**Disclaimer - please don't judge on how the room looked before. The curtains were horrendous and J hung them too high, but we never felt like fixing it since we didn't use the room much. And the bed was covered in clothes because the pictures were taken while we were refinishing the white dresser. So those were all of the clothes that were inside it!**
