Plum.

12 Weeks! So close to 2nd tri I can taste it. In fact depending on who you ask, I'm already there. But I'm going by 40/3, which will be 13w3d. According to BabyCenter if I poke my belly the baby will squirm in response. This was proven to be true today at the ultrasound. BabyCam was wiggling around like mad in there, especially when prodded by the tech!

I think I look about the same as last week.

In addition to a belly pic, we have pics of babyCam this week!

Measuring right on at 12 weeks.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not sure. I really need to weigh myself on my parents scale again. There is no way I have gained 5 lbs in the last week and a half, so clearly the scale at the doctor's office is off from my parents.
Maternity Clothes: I am needing more and more shirts these days.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new.
Sleep: Waking up more and more.
Movement: It's happening, but I'm not feeling it yet :-P
Food Cravings/Aversions: Still no life or death situation cravings, but I have had a strong liking for honey mustard this week.
Gender: I still think girl. J thinks boy.
Belly Button In or Out: No change.
What I Miss: My sweet tooth. I mean I know it's better not to be nomming on chocolate 24/7, but these Christmas special Hershey Kisses are going to waste! I'm on the hunt for a creative way to bake with them...
What I am Looking Forward To: Starting to baby shop. And not just for onesies, for big stuff. J and I are going to go look at cribs and such soon!
Weekly Wisdom: I'm reiterating 'perfect the smile and nod' this week after our NT scan. The doctor of all people was giving us his two cents on what to do about finding out the sex of not only this baby, but those that follow as well!
Best Moment This Week: Our appointments today! We heard the heartbeat this morning, but it was a bit faint and tough for her to find. She said if we weren't headed to the NT scan later that she would have done an ultrasound to be sure. So I was nervous heading to the scan this afternoon. But as soon as the ultrasound started, there was babyCam wriggling all over! This ultrasound was seriously the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. Ever. Watching the baby move inside of me, seeing its heart beat, seeing it wave at us, I could gush on and on forever. I can't possibly describe how amazing it was with words. I could have sat there and watched the baby all day long!
